Stone Crab Season: The Only Fishery Where They Take a Claw and Throw You Back
Florida fishermen take a claw from each stone crab and put the crab back in the water alive. The claw grows back. The legal minimum is 2 7/8 inches and the season runs October 15 to May 1.
